🇾🇹⛑️ Face à la tragédie nationale du passage dévastateur du cyclone #Chido sur le département français de #Mayotte, TotalEnergies se mobilise, en coopération avec les services de l’Etat et les acteurs locaux, pour venir en aide aux très nombreuses personnes affectées par cette catastrophe. 🏥🚑 Nos équipes déploient actuellement tous les moyens disponibles pour continuer d’assurer l’approvisionnement de l’archipel en carburants, notamment les infrastructures essentielles comme le centre hospitalier, les services de secours, l'aéroport et les centrales électriques. De son côté, la Fondation TotalEnergies mobilise la somme de 5 millions d'euros pour des actions d'urgence et la reconstruction d'installations. Un premier don d’un million d’euros sera ainsi affecté immédiatement à la Protection Civile française qui apporte actuellement une grande partie de l’aide d’urgence déployée à Mayotte. Nous réaffirmons notre solidarité avec tous les habitants de Mayotte et saluons l’engagement de nos équipes locales qui œuvrent pour faire face à cette situation dramatique. 🇴🇲 A new step in the deployment of our multi-energy #strategy in the Sultanate of Oman! We are pleased to announce, together with our partner OQ Alternative Energy, the signing of landmark agreements to develop 300 megawatts of #renewableenergy projects in the country! 🌬️☀️ They include a 100-megawatt solar project in northern Oman and two 100-megawatt wind projects in the south of the Sultanate. Construction is set to begin in early 2025, with operations starting in late 2026. ⚡ The electricity will be delivered through long-term power purchase agreements to Petroleum Development Oman, the leading exploration and production company in the Sultanate. Once completed, these three projects will generate over 1.4 TWh of renewable energy annually, supporting #Oman’s energy landscape with innovative and more sustainable solutions! This transaction will also strengthen our integrated power value chain in #Germany, which represents half of VSB Group's projects! 🇺🇸 At the same time, we are selling 50% of a solar and battery #energystorage system portfolio in the United States to Apollo Global Management, Inc..
