💫 We’re excited to see the BBC has released the trailer for This Town, the story of an extended family and a group of young people who are drawn into an explosive and thrilling music scene in the Midlands in the 1980s. Created by Steven Knight and produced by Kudos and Nebulastar, This Town was filmed on location in the #Birmingham area, and at our very own Digbeth Loc. Studios! 🙌 The six-part series will be available in full on BBC iPlayer from 6am on Sunday 31 March, and then airs later on BBC One at 9pm. 🎞 “ New support for film Game-Changing ” | Today’s UK Government announcement that eligible film studios in England will get a 40% relief on their gross business rates until 2034, is hugely positive news. The impact that this will have on both grassroots filmmakers and transforming urban spaces with film studios as the nucleus for regeneration, is game changing. We hope this will drive more productions and subsequently jobs to Digbeth Loc.
