  • When building your marketing strategy, it’s crucial to ask yourself if you are effectively communicating with both your loyal customers and new potential shoppers. Each group has different needs and expectations, and tailoring your communication accordingly can make a big difference. For loyal customers, your communication should focus on reinforcing their positive experiences and ensuring they feel valued. This can include tailored emails after purchases, exclusive offers, and updates on new products or services. Highlighting their importance to your business can bring a sense of loyalty and encourage repeat purchases. For new potential shoppers, the goal is to attract their attention and build trust. Clear, compelling messages that outline the unique benefits of your products or services are essential. Testimonials, reviews, and introductory offers can be effective tools in converting these prospects into customers. By adopting different communication strategies for each group, you ensure that both feel seen and heard, ultimately enticing them to engage and (hopefully) shop more! Now is the time to start layering in this type of communication, so you can steadily increase the connection between you and your shoppers. Just in time to be their first choice when shopping later in the year. Allow us to support you in getting those customer conversations right - get I touch to book your free consultation ✨

You don’t need new product - you need better marketing. I’ve recently been so surprised to hear that marketing agencies are asking brands to either bring in new products or plan a promo weekend to create more excitement within their brand. Eh? If things are quiet, and stock isn't selling as well as you had forecasted, why would you bring in more? That will only aid the problem further. Also, it's a very slippery slope to come back from by offering discounts as a way of kick-starting sales. marketing agencies will ask about new products, as launching and selling new items is far easier than recreating content for existing ones. But know that if we can do it for our brands, then you can do it for your brand too. We spend many hours reorganising collections to reflect the season, stock holdings, and sales. We never suggest our brands buy new products, focusing instead on creating desirable collections and emotive campaigns using existing stock. The Stories Society is 50% Strategy and 50% Storytelling - so it’s our job to create a strategy that suits your current situation and marketing to support that ✨

  • Growing Your Email Audience within The Strategy When building your Marketing strategy it’s important to ensure you are guiding your audience onto a platform which has a higher conversion rate = Email Marketing. When AI suppers the Stratey & elevates the storytelling! We’ve begun to experiment with AI images to enhance our storytelling. It’s time consuming and to get quality images it takes a lot of reworking - but it’s certainly worth it. There seems to be a mix of opinions when it comes to AI-related discussions. Like with any new and “progressive” concepts, it’s essential to figure out how it can benefit us, instead of viewing it as a challenge. What’s your thoughts on AI?
