Lionfish are noticeable and command respect with their beautiful, flowing fins. Similarly, Leos have a magnetic, expressive personality and love to stand out, radiating confidence. Virgo (August 23 - September 22) ~ Cleaner Shrimp Virgos are detail-oriented, helpful, and precise, much like the meticulous cleaner shrimp. These shrimp perform an essential service on reefs by cleaning other fish, displaying Virgo’s inclination toward service and order. Their diligent, methodical nature mirrors Virgo’s careful, conscientious character. Libra (September 23 - October 22) ~ Seahorse Libras are associated with harmony, partnership, and balance, making the gentle, graceful seahorse a suitable match. Seahorses are often found in pairs and are known for their unique approach to mating and child-rearing, showing Libra’s love for companionship and balance in relationships. At an event earlier this year, Ingrid Lung told me she wanted to host a film screening 🎬. "Me too!!" I said. Fast forward 4 months, and we pulled it off 🙌. This was The Marine Diaries third London event, and it was a huge success. The room was packed with over 80 people, and we raised over £200 through our raffle! We heard from 🗣️ Eleanor Church Lark Rise Pictures, Avril Greenaway, and Nick Doman on the journey behind the film, the interconnectedness of plastic and other global issues, and positive examples of driving impact and behaviour change 💥. Eleanor truly nailed it with X Trillion 🎥. She's expertly weaved science 🔬, adventure, and education - told through the lens of female perspectives, motherhood, and a touch of sillyness. Because to get people engaged in ocean issues, we need to make it FUN. This was truly a collaborative effort between The Marine Diaries and Scarlet Red Magazine, x+why (Deej Phillips, Loux Rutherford).
