The photos below showcase parts we’ve produced for a cutting-edge project in Plasma Torch Technology. 💡 Highlights of the project: The component pictured is 316 stainless steel, crafted using multi-axis CNC machining. Achieving such precision from alloys with a low machining index value demonstrates our expertise in working with challenging materials. Beyond stainless steel, this project also includes intricate parts machined from copper bar. Copper's unique properties can make it demanding to work with, but it’s a challenge we embrace with our wealth of experience. This collaboration is a testament to our commitment to working closely with customers to meet their exacting standards, no matter the complexity. Celebrating the Future of the ACR Industry! We are proud to share how our Managing Director, Oliver Lawton and Head of ACR, Chris White, both represented Lawton Tubes and attended the ACR & Heat Pump Trainee of the Year Awards recently, a fantastic event that recognised and celebrated the incredible talent entering our industry. With 30 finalists supported by their colleagues, mentors, and friends, it was a memorable day that shone a spotlight on the diversity of skills and dedication shaping the future of ACR and Heat Pumps. Our Managing Director, Oliver Lawton summed it up perfectly: "Supporting the youth of our future industry is important. We had people who helped us in the past, so it's great to be able to support the talent of the future." Our Head of ACR, Chris White added: "It was a great event and the perfect opportunity to network with peers within the industry. It's amazing to be part of this initiative and to support the young engineers coming into the ACR industry. Hearing their stories of achievement was truly inspiring, an inspiration to all!" Had a great day at Castleford College on Friday. Robert Lawton presented some information on our company history & how we make tube. I did a quick session on sustainability & fire safety. Then Peter Booth went through his history on the job and gave some sound advice. It's always rewarding to share what we know and educate the next generation of plumbers.
