About us

We help young people to ‘Start and Stay’ in golf by making their introduction to the game fun, innovative, inspiring, inclusive and enriching . We take simplified versions of the game to schools and community groups, introduce children to golf clubs, teach playing and transferable life skills, and enable youngsters to keep playing and enjoying the game for years to come.

    We are delighted to announce a new Principal Partnership with Nestlé Confectionery 🤝 Nestlé boasts a rich heritage of creating some of the UK's favourite treats, including iconic brands like KitKat®, Aero® and Quality Street® that are enjoyed by the nation and sold in PGA Members’ pro shops and golf facilities. Speaking about the partnership, Richard Barker PGA, Executive Director - Business Development, said: “This partnership offers our Members access to Nestlé Confectionery products, along with valuable market insights through Nestlé’s expertise." “We understand there is an opportunity for confectionery to be a significant and profitable aspect of golf club shops and driving ranges’ F&B offerings. Partnering with Nestlé allows us to provide enhanced support and services which will maximise both the experience for golfers and the bottom line at our Members’ facilities.” Additionally, Nestlé is dedicated to supporting PGA Members in driving growth through its confectionery expertise. PGA Members will be able to take advantage of exclusive offers and a survey will be conducted in due course to gather insights on Member needs, further customising the partnership. “We are thrilled to announce the commencement of our partnership with The PGA,” said Gail Stove, Nestlé Out of Home Lead. “Nestlé aims to offer golfers the ideal companion for their break experience with KitKat®, the perfect bar for the course.   • We are DELIGHTED to be sharing this incredible video with everyone - the culmination of year one of our Unleash Your Drive campaign Launched in September 2023, Unleash Your Drive saw golfers playing and donating in order to be in with a chance of qualifying for the Unleash Your Drive Final, and ultimately winning one of three spots in the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am. And here's the story of the winning trio... This morning on Suffolk Sound Radio Vanessa shared her thoughts about leadership and mindset in elite golf, the cultural differences between Suffolk and Alabama where she studied, her formative experiences of sport at Ipswich High School and the key components of organising a successful charity golf day!   • When Nick Dougherty first came on board as President and talked about launching Unleash Your Drive, we never imagined how quickly we would be where we are now. An incredible week at the BMW PGA Championship saw: -Our first UYD winners play in the Pro-Am! -another feature on Sky Sports focusing on our work -Our President's Awards in the Wentworth clubhouse -hundreds of youngsters coming on stand and celebrating our work -our mental toughness tools up in huge letters across the Championship Village stand But the cherry on top... having seen our great work at Westminster earlier this year, BMW Group continued to explore how they could support the work we are doing. And that culminated (for now!) in the Eagles For Education initiative, where they donated £1,000 to the Golf Foundation for every eagle scored at Wentworth. And brilliantly, there were 89 by the time Billy Horschel's playoff eagle secured the win Our growth has been amazing in the past 18 months, and we aren't stopping now. We've got bigger and more exciting things coming in 2025.
