This week we were selected in the Top 100 on The Europas / Websummit!! (Yay!!!) But my story with the Europas started 13 years ago when I was looking for an internship… My boyfriend told me there are startups out there who would be happy to have me, and he sent over this article with the “best european startups” from Techcrunch It was a list of companies who just won the Europas award I dived into researching the world of startups, and I got a social media manager internship at one of the companies   But actually I never started that job, because we ended up founding our own company Antavo AI Loyalty Cloud!! (Ah young people, they never know how difficult things are - this is their superpower!) Later that year we wanted to raise a seed round from investors I remembered that article, and saw that Seedcamp won the best seed fund of the year. I remember checking out Carlos Eduardo Espinal MBE Reshma Sohoni and Philipp Moehring on photos “They are the best? Then they should be our investors!” we thought. After some time Seedcamp did invest, and did became our first investor… This is how that ONE Techcrunch article really changed our life Fast forward 10+ years we are named in the Europas Top 100!! What a full circle moment Also for you to know Mike Butcher ✍️ and Dianne See Morrison the work you have put in selecting the best companies in the past decade truly helped some people on the way, like me.
