The Celtic Collection is a prestigious family of experience-focused UK business and leisure destinations born from the success of the world-renowned Celtic Manor Resort, the group’s flagship destination situated in the beautiful Usk Valley at the gateway to South Wales. Celtic Manor Resort is one of Europe’s finest destinations for luxury escapes, family breaks, golfing getaways and business events. Host venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup and the 2014 NATO Summit, the resort is set in more than 2,000 acres of panoramic parkland at the gateway to South Wales and has been voted the UK’s Best Hotel at the Meetings & Incentive Travel Awards 10 times. The Celtic Collection includes the 330-room, five-star Resort Hotel, the historic 19th century Manor House with 70 rooms, the 148-room Coldra Court, the Newbridge on Usk country inn with six rooms, Tŷ Hotel Magor with 129 bedrooms and 10 luxurious Hunter Lodges. The 170-bedroom Parkgate Hotel was opened in Cardiff in Autumn 2021 in partnership with the Welsh Rugby Union and the 100-bedroom Tŷ Hotel Milford Waterfront was launched in Spring 2022 in partnership with the Port of Milford Haven. In September 2019, The Celtic Collection opened the new International Convention Centre Wales (ICC Wales) in a joint venture partnership with Welsh Government. ICC Wales can hold more than 5,000 delegates at a time and includes a 4,000 sq m pillar-free main hall, a 1,500-seat auditorium and an additional 15 flexible meeting rooms. In addition, the Collection includes a choice of nine restaurants, three championship golf courses, exceptional spas and health clubs, adventure golf, treetop high ropes course, fishing and tennis courts.

🎉 Next week, I celebrate one year in the Sales & Revenue team, and what a year it's been! 🎉 I couldn’t possibly list everything, but here are some highlights that have made 2024 unforgettable: 🏨 Two new hotels joined the collection – Ty Newport and St Brides ✈️ The team travelled across the globe. From London to Las Vegas and Barcelona, we’ve covered thousands of miles, meeting with clients, attending key shows 💥 We’ve delivered hundreds of events across our 10 hotels, providing exceptional experiences for our clients. 🎤 We had the incredible opportunity to host our clients at some of the biggest names in music, including Taylor Swift, P!NK, Foo Fighters, and more at Principality Stadium in Cardiff! 💪 Team building reached new heights too and we even conquered the stadium itself – climbing, zip-lining, and abseiling down the other side! It’s been a year of growth, adventure, and amazing experiences. Thank you to Rachel, Jill and the incredible team at The Celtic Collection and ICC Wales. Together with an incredible team of volunteers, we transformed the Newport Yemeni Community Association (NYCA) into a winter wonderland, complete with Santa's Grotto, festive tunes, and magical characters like Dylan the Dragon, the Mad Hatter, and Alice. 🎁 Over 1,000 presents were lovingly wrapped and delivered, bringing joy to hundreds of children. Huge thanks to our cheery elves, Richard Harries for his musical magic, and everyone behind the scenes who worked tirelessly to create unforgettable memories. With over 1,000 presents wrapped and delivered, they brought smiles to hundreds of children's faces. A special shoutout to the team of cheery elves for making yesterday’s Festive Extravaganza so magical! The event featured Santa and his elves, a visit from Dylan the Dragon, the Mad Hatter, and Alice. The Resort Head of Entertainment at Celtic Collection, Richard Harries, created a wonderful atmosphere with festive tunes on the keyboard. Each child also received a present, a selection box, a soft drink, and cookies! I also want to extend a massive thanks to Reggie Al-Haddi, Chairman of NYCA, Councillor debbie Jenkins, Paul Macey, and Alassim Mohamed Mohammed for their massive support in organizing the event. A big thank you to Quantum for managing the traffic around the venue to ensure everyone stayed safe. This event was a fantastic way to support the community and provide a magical festive experience for hundreds of children and their families. Organized by a partnership between Business in the Community, The Celtic Collection, and Newport Yemeni Community Association as part of the #NewportPlaceProgramme, it was wonderful to see the excitement on the children’s faces and the volunteers' enjoyment as well.
