2024! What a year it’s been. Full of excitement, challenges, and lessons along the way. Since launching TAUK, there have been moments where market conditions felt like they might hold us back, or so I thought. Yet here we are. From a self-funded startup to securing a seven-figure investment round this year, to being ranked 105th on the list of best selling estate agency businesses in the UK by the close of 2024. That’s out of 14,500 of the bastards! We didn’t even exist when this chart started in 2019, but to achieve this in less than four years is beyond anything I ever imagined possible. We’re a small British business carving out our own path, with our incredible estate agency business partners leading the way. Having spent over two decades in this industry, corporate, indie, online, and now brokerage, I’m deeply grateful for the journey so far and even more excited for what’s ahead in 2025. For the first time since TAUK began, it feels like the market might finally be in our favour.
