  • Another fantastic session helping Wellbeing Leads see the impact of their work… Recently, we hosted the free “𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁” session, with a great turnout of workplace wellbeing leaders eager to learn how to demonstrate real impact through their work.     What does Workplace Wellbeing mean to you? If you were to ask your workforce what came to mind if you said "wellbeing", the most likely responses would be: 📅 Awareness Days 📞 EAP 🍊 Free Fruit Now think... Would the answer be any different if you were to ask your board or senior leaders the same question? The answer... 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁. In my day-to-day work, Wellbeing Leads and Workplace Wellbeing Professionals are telling me that this is one of the biggest challenges they are facing. 📔 Re-educating not only the workforce, but also senior leaders on what they need to be able to do in their role. Trying to convince senior leaders to give them the agency so they can make impactful and preventative changes to the working environment and ways of working. Just like a H&S Lead is given the ability to make changes if equipment or ways of working is dangerous to physical health! The role of a Wellbeing Lead is so much more than organising awareness day events, managing an EAP and giving out free fruit as you can see in our Workplace Wellbeing Profession Map below.
