The transition to sustainable cold chain logistics took another step forward last week as Greenyard Frozen welcomed their first Sunswap Endurance unit. James Tuttle, Greenyard Frozen Transport Manager, highlighted the strategic importance, "This is an important first step in decarbonising our operations. As the most sustainable food category, we're investing in innovative solutions to further green our supply chain." This follows DFDS's adoption of Endurance, our battery and solar-powered transport refrigeration unit in November. By integrating Endurance into their fleet, DFDS now offers customers like Greenyard a zero-emission solution for temperature-controlled transport - meeting the growing demand for sustainable food logistics without compromising performance.
