Making every day count

About us

At St Rocco's Hospice are proud to be a local charity supported by the people and businesses of Warrington with over 70% of the £5m we need each year coming directly from supporters in our local community. Our care is offered free of charge and we are dedicated to helping each patient live their life to the full with respect, dignity and choice. We believe in making every day count for our patients, their carers, families and loved ones. As well as our 10 bed In-Patient Unit our Vitality Centre offers a range of services including complementary therapies, outpatients clinics, physio and occupational therapy and counselling, with the aim of supporting patients to stay as well as possible for as long as possible. We also care for the carers, offering relaxation sessions, complementary therapies and family support where appropriate. We also provide bereavement counselling. We are a 'Hospice Without Walls' . Our care reaches into the very heart of our communities through our services like Hospice At Home and our volunteer befriending service 'Rocco's On Your Doorstep'. www.stroccos.org.uk

  • We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to ensuring our Bereavement Cafes successfully ran this year. Over the last 12 months, the cafés have supported over 370 people, with the help of 25 volunteers who provide one to one listening support or the option to connect with others experiencing a similar bereavement. The cafés rely on volunteers from a vast array of backgrounds and skills including counsellors, teachers, engineers, nurses, social workers, and many others who have benefited from CAEC services in the past and want to give something back to St Rocco’s. Please note, there will be no Bank Park café on Tuesday 24th December.
