Last night we hosted our annual Christmas social, and what a night it was! 🎄 The festivities included a fantastic Sport:80-themed quiz (masterfully created by Jack Waddingham), a delicious meal, plenty of drinks, and lots of festive fun! Congratulations to the winning quiz team, the ‘All Stars,’ featuring Gary Hargraves, Martin Hunt, Emma Witherford, Frankie Chan, and Jake Lane (they were sure to remind everyone of their victory throughout the evening) 🏆🎉 Earlier in the day, we reflected on what has truly been a landmark year for Sport:80. Our leadership team kicked things off with a presentation celebrating our collective achievements and milestones in 2024, recognising the incredible team effort that made it all possible. We also introduced the first-ever Sport:80 Recognition Awards to honour standout contributions from our team: 🏅 Community Ambassador Award - Arjith Ravi 🏅 Data Migration Maestro Award - Jordan Wright 🏅 International Excellence Award - Emma Witherford 🏅 Positive Determination Award - Frankie Chan 🏅 Global Dealmaker Award - Jack Waddingham This was followed by a Secret Santa gift exchange, before we headed into the evening for an incredible meal and some drinks 🍻 Thank you to everyone who made the night (and this year) so special - although, admittedly, there were a few sore heads in the office this morning! 😅 Here’s to an even bigger and better 2025! 🎉👏 #sportstech #sportsbusiness #sportsindustry #sheffieldbusiness #innovation #staffsocial #companyculture #christmas
