They not only serve the finest quality food but also provide employment for individuals who have experienced homelessness, offering the London Living Wage, travel support, and catering qualifications to help launch their careers. Home Kitchen supports individuals to rebuild their lives and break free from the cycle of homelessness. When an organisation receives #SocialInvestment, they will usually need to pay a return for using the money an investor lends them. This can be referred to as ‘Cost of Capital’. Any social investor making loans expects to lend, and then be repaid. The aim of this is to cover the cost of lending and any default payments which means the money can then be recycled and lent again. Learn more about what it is and how it works via this handy Good Finance UK Hub - link in the comments.
