What's it like being a Nestle Apprentice? I was delighted to attend an Academy event that truly highlighted the main aspects of why I love working at Nestle. Being surround by so many impressive and successful members of this great organisation has been truly magnificent. Heading into my second and final year as an Apprentice has put a lot of things into prospective and this event has definitely enlightened and encouraged me to seek the most out of it. Over the last couple days I was able to expand my knowledge of how to succeed through change and how important it is to have an open mindset through periods of hardship not only in the professional world but also personal. This was particularly helpful as my time on scheme comes to an end. I was also able to meet members from Sixty. where we focused on the 6 Key Leadership Frameworks here at Nestle through various exercises which included teamwork, Leadership, problem solving and negotiation. Not only did it allow me to step out of my comfort zone but I also gained an understanding of the importance of networking and seeking opportunities to find out what inspires me in the workplace. Overall I would love to say a huge thank you to Sarah Mountford, Sixty., Nestle Academy and my cohort for making this such an amazing and eye opening event. #Nestle #finance #apprenticeship

We covered:   💬 360° feedback Using our Power Skills software, graduates captured actionable feedback from colleagues, helping them visualise their strengths and identify opportunities for development.    🪞 Self-reflection Through guided exercises, we helped graduates identify their personal drivers, areas for growth, and set actionable development goals. Sparking performance and growth starts with internal self-awareness.   🔐 Team escape game: 'SHIELD of STARS'  A high-energy team building challenge designed to teach collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills. Puzzles, strategy, and some serious lightbulb moments!   🎥 And, of course, the power of video.
