We were delighted to welcome the Chancellor, Rt Hon Rachel Reeves, at this mornings Business Council meeting, to reflect on October's Budget and the Government's long-term strategies for stimulating growth. 📈🧰 Hosted at the headquarters of The King's Trust, a Business Council member, the event offered senior business leaders the chance to directly discuss the effects of policy measures, including the increase in employer national insurance contributions, with the Chancellor. The Chancellor was greeted on her arrival at the event by our Director General Shevaun Haviland. 🤝 Martha Lane Fox, President of the British Chambers of Commerce and Chair of the Business Council, said: “With costs rising it is vital the Government delivers on its promise to create long-term frameworks for economic stability. Rt Hon Rachel Reeves MP, Chancellor of the Exchequer said:  "It was a pleasure to attend the British Chambers of Commerce's Business Council today to discuss long-term plans to boost economic growth. My Budget was one to wipe the slate clean in the face of an inherited £22bn blackhole and bring businesses the stability they desperately need. It involved difficult decisions, but has laid the foundations for growth, and our partnership with business will be vital to delivering that." #WhereBusinessBelongs #EconomicGrowth #BusinessLeaders #ChambersOfCommerce #BusinessCouncil #ChancellorVisit #PolicyDiscussion

  • Women’s experiences like those highlighted in this report are why we developed a comprehensive women’s health-focused GP service that addresses these systemic issues and enhances access to care. By coupling an empathetic approach with awareness of the most up to date research and guidelines in women’s health we can work to close the gender health gap. https://lnkd.in/eTWk68mE

🏆 Practi - Customer Service Provider of the Year! 🎉 Last night we attended the Dentistry Dental Industry Awards at Wembley, and absolutely delighted that we won “Customer Service Provider of the Year!" 😃   This is something that the whole Practi team should be proud of because everyone contributes to this success:   ⚙️ Operations -  when they're on the front-line, serving clinic-staff and patients 🛠️ Engineering  - bug-fixing, helping remediate issues and developing longer term solutions to give the Ops team more leverage. 🎨 Product & Design - jumping on customer feedback and working to quickly develop features that solve user problems. 🤝 Customer Success and Sales  - always being so attentive and responsive to customer needs, no matter where they are in the customer journey. 📣 Marketing - presenting our work in such a way that we get recognised at this level in the industry.   One thing I love most about this team is that they’re so collegial and collaborative; no-one ever says, "that's not my problem" or "that’s another team's responsibility now". When there's an issue, multi-disciplinary teams form organically to swarm the problem, and we're very proud of that culture. ❤️ Every customer problem is an opportunity to delight them with how quickly, effectively, and kindly we respond - this is where long-term customer loyalty is won. Thanks to Craig Welling, Tim Molony and Leanna Ellis for such a great night! Today is #InternationalVolunteerDay and we want to take the time to celebrate our amazing staff who have volunteered their time, effort, and expertise to charities and community causes this year. We support our colleagues by giving every member of staff three volunteering days each year which they can use to support causes close to their hearts. Colleagues have donated their time in a huge variety of ways, including doing litter picks, helping to construct local charity projects like Andover Mind’s Garden for Mind, delivering children’s oral health education sessions with BrightBites (our collaborative programme with Dentaid The Dental Charity ), donating their expertise to help charities with their marketing strategy, and so much more. We’re proud to be able to support our colleagues and our communities in this way. Well done to everyone who has volunteered their time this year! 👏
