  • We are delighted to share with you an informative and helpful blog, written by the amazing Stacey Lowman and Rachel Harte at MONEY FIRST AID. Three life events that can knock your financial health off course: and what support is available. It really is worth a read! This blog covers life events that I am sure have affected most of us at some point in our lives, and even if it's not something we are experiencing ourselves at this point, this can equip us for future. With signposting to different specialists for support. Feel free to share with anyone you feel this may also help. Click here to read: https://lnkd.in/dSVkPMDx

  • From all of us at Simpila Wellbeing we wish you a Merry Christmas. Yesterday we had our final team meeting and talked about reflections of 2024. Another year of growth, new challenges and changes. The consistency throughout this year has been the focus on support and family first. We are proud to have won 'The best place to work' at the Inspire Business Awards earlier this year. We still have a little time until we close down to rest, recover and connect with friends and family, and we will be continuing to deliver training and sessions for our amazing client community. As we look forward to 2025 it is going to be a big year as we bring online new sessions (I am particularly excited for one of the new sessions... more about that soon). Please do make sure you prioritise yourself in this busy period of the year. 💚

  • 💚💚 Take a Break 💚 💚 It can be so easy to carry on working once we get going but please remember to take regular breaks and especially make sure you use your lunch break. Studies have found that breaks can reduce or prevent stress, help to maintain performance throughout the day and reduce the need for a long recovery at the end of the day* Now that spring is around the corner and if possible, why not step outside. Getting out in nature can positively impact your mental health even if its only for a few minutes. Wishing you a positive day! #outside #break #mentalhealth *A study by Korpela, Kinnunen, Geurts, de Bloom and Sianoja (2016)

Exciting news for 2025! After 5 years we are hosting our first in person MHFA England® Open Mental Health First Aider training delivery! The past years have been a wonderful combination of virtual training and client dedicated deliveries… we felt it’s time to open up the doors and help more people on this journey. The first open in person course is taking place at Belvedere House, Basingstoke, hosted by BizSpace Ltd and taking place on 4th and 5th February. Spaces are limited so reserve yours early: https://lnkd.in/e8asSZVv Personally I love the energy, support and collaboration being in the same room training together. 💚

  • At Simpila Wellbeing we can provide you with a total integration and development approach to implementing (MHFA England®) Mental Health First Aid programmes into your organisation. With over 3,500 Mental Health First Aiders trained by us over the past 5 years we have developed a programme that works for clients of all sizes. Our Awareness (first) - Education - Support model helps to bring everyone in the organisation along on the journey. One of the biggest challenges with Mental Health First Aid is there is often no initial plan as to how to communicate with the organisation, engage with those who might be struggling, and how to continue to evolve the role following the initial training. If you are looking to implement Mental Health First Aid in 2024 we would love to chat with you, and talk you through the right approach and process. The world is evolving rapidly, mental health and all topics of wellbeing are becoming more open and awareness is increasing. Are you ready to provide that expected support to your teams in the future? If you would like to chat with one of our amazing team please feel free to send us a message/enquiry: training@simpila.com 💚
