A huge thank you to Shared Access for their amazing support in this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge! Their generous donation of £1,500 has been doubled thanks to matched funding, making an even greater impact. With their help, OpenSight can continue breaking barriers, promoting independence, and bringing meaningful change to the lives of blind and visually impaired individuals across Hampshire. Sam Jackman, Chief Development Officer, Shared Access: “Our partnership with assistive technology company GiveVision and Crystal Palace FC this year has enabled us to help visually impaired football fans watch the game they love alongside friends and family. We are committed to spearheading this new standard in accessibility for live entertainment and helping create a more inclusive experience for every supporter. We’ve worked closely with a number of football fans on development of this tech and one of them is a service user and volunteer for Opensight. With our UK headquarters located in Hampshire as well, it feels particularly meaningful to support our local community in this way.” Together, we’re building a more inclusive and empowering community. 💙 Thank you, Shared Access, for sharing our vision! #ThankYou #BigGive #MakingADifference #VisionForAll
