With funding from the Savoy Educational Trust, Loughborough College unveiled its brand-new academy training kitchens at the Radmoor Centre last month. These state-of-the-art facilities are designed to equip Hospitality and Catering students with the skills needed to thrive in modern professional kitchens. Last Friday, we were absolutely delighted to see the kitchens in action for the Springboard #FutureChef local Finals – a competition also supported by the Trust. It’s fantastic to see how our funding is helping to create opportunities for the next generation of hospitality talent in such an impactful and tangible way. https://lnkd.in/erDAAbhv #Hospitality #Education #FutureChef #Training #SavoyEducationalTrust

On Friday, our Chairman Howard Field and Executive team member Louise Hewitt, attended #Passion4Hospitality at Novotel London West on behalf of the Savoy Educational Trust. Their presence reflected the Trust’s ongoing commitment to supporting initiatives that inspire the future of our industry. It was incredible to see it so well attended. The buzz in the room was infectious, with enthusiastic students, lecturers and employers coming together to connect, learn and inspire each other. As the largest free student, graduate and apprentice Careers Exhibition & Conference in the sector, #Passion4Hospitality delivered an outstanding programme. With over 50 businesses involved, attendees had the chance to explore career opportunities, participate in workshops, practice interviews, enhance their CVs and build valuable connections. The Trust was proud to sponsor the Best Student Paper Competition, which highlights the creativity and talent within the next generation of hospitality leaders. Congratulations to Molly Tunstall, this years winner – a truly well-deserved achievement! #Passion4Hospitality continues to be a fantastic platform for nurturing the next generation of talent and we’re thrilled to have supported such an inspiring event. It was a true pleasure to meet Chloe, whose passion and drive for her project was absolutely infectious! We’re thrilled to support her journey and were delighted to award the bursary. We can’t wait to see all that Chloe achieves and to hear about the progress along the way at The Wilds Farm. Congratulations, Chloe! #InspiringTalent #BursaryAward #FutureLeaders
Congratulations to Chloe, the latest recipient of a bursary from The Savoy Educational Trust! On receiving funding, Chloe said: "It was a pleasure to meet with members of the Young Futures Fund and Savoy Education Trust to discuss The Wilds Farm and our plans for the future. This generous award will enable staff training to support our clients to safely access British farms and build their understanding of the hospitality sector. With this training, we can provide clients with confident, up-to-date, immersive, and inclusive experiences of seed-to-plate growing, preparation, and distribution of food produce. Our clients include young carers, low-income families, and individuals with special needs and disabilities. The training funded will allow our clients to organically build their passion and knowledge around hospitality/catering before entering further study, volunteering, or working opportunities. Thank you to The Savoy Education Trust for supporting us to make this possible!"
