This holiday season we ran our Festive Giving Tree to spread a little magic to those spending Christmas in hospital 🎁 ✨ Here’s how it works: 🎄Colleagues pick a tag from the Giving Tree 🎁 Each with the name of a gift for a child spending Christmas in hospital 🎅 Employees purchased their designated gifts and returned them to the office, ready to be wrapped by the Samsung elves We were thrilled to be able to support our local hospital, Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with over 160 gifts! A huge thanks to all our generous colleagues who supported the initiative and helped us spread some festive joy!

Did you know GCSE uptake in Design and Technology has fallen by over two-thirds in the past decade? Less than half of students believe their current lessons are preparing them for the future of technology and innovation. That’s why we're calling for an urgent refresh on the School Curriculum to protect the future of inventing and innovation for young people. We are proud to run our Samsung Solve for Tomorrow programme that supports young innovators every year. We also know there’s still a huge appetite for innovation right across the country. In a letter to the Government, supported by both the Design Council and the Design and Technology Association, we're asking for a refresh in the way Design and Technology is taught in schools by positioning design thinking at the forefront of lessons, including more real-world application of skills. Without this change, there is a fear the UK's pipeline of diverse talent with the skills for future inventions is at risk. Led by top chef Millie Simpson, the event highlighted how our smart kitchen appliances and AI-powered features can transform festive hosting into a seamless and sustainable experience. ✨ Key moments from the event: 🍴 Guests mastered festive dishes using Dual Cook technology and the Samsung Food app, showcasing energy-efficient cooking and creative solutions for reducing food waste. 🍴 Millie shared expert tips to tackle Christmas leftovers, with the Samsung Food app inspiring delicious, sustainable meals from seasonal surplus. 🍴 Attendees learned how features like AI Pro Cooking and Sense Inside make cooking stress-free, from suggesting settings to monitoring dishes in real-time. The day culminated in a joyful Christmas lunch, where everyone savoured their creations and built connections over a shared love for food and innovation. Last Sunday we had the pleasure of hosting Pana Run Club and our very own #TeamGalaxy wellness influencer Josh Patterson at the first #SamsungHealth "Run to Retreat" event at #SamsungKX. Over 30 runners joined us for a 5km run followed by a breath work session, all tracked by the Samsung Health app via their Galaxy Watches. The Samsung Health app allows users to access and manage comprehensive health and wellness information with no subscription fee, empowering everyone to pursue their wellness goals. From energy levels and sleep quality to stress management, the Samsung Health app can help you personalise your health priorities to suit your unique needs.
