This year, the new Future Homes Standard will come into force, requiring new homes to be more energy efficient than those built under existing Building Regulations. According to the World Building Green Council, the built environment accounts for around 39% of global energy related carbon emissions, something the Future Homes Standard hopes to tackle head-on. Off-site manufacturing can help to deliver new homes within the regulations quickly, easily, and more sustainably. Off-site manufacture prioritises energy efficiency, building it into the early stages of a project. Well, what a year it's been..! As it all starts to slow down now, it's great to be able to reflect back on what has, yet again, been a phenomenal year for Team Intrastack We've launched 2 x new solutions to market... April - Intrastack low-rise housing - full loadbearing structures for single-occupancy living December - GypLyner Xternal - SFS solutions for hi-rise & commercial buildings We've continued to drive our testing & development regime for Intrastack load-bearing structures, pushing the boundaries of #LGSF technology, and ensuring we have multiple build-ups & configurations to meet all of our customers project needs... We've re-defined innovative LGSF design with our new LGSF system design macros feeding some very s3xy start-of-the-art rolling mills (BTW.!!!) We've grown the team and created a more stable structure-for-growth as we align with wider Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland brands and our Saint-Gobain Off-Site Solutions sector-led approach... And, above all else, we've delivered some amazing projects to some fantastic customers (new & old) throughout 2024, whilst designing-up some major schemes for 2025 that will soon be flushing through the factory... None of this is possible without having the best-in-class team/s around to make vision become reality... and here they are.!!!
