  • **APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED** We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Junior Buyer to join us at Rosie Made a Thing - an extraordinary business whose mission is to deliver smiles though their delightfully designed & humorous product ranges.   We are looking for either an experienced Assistant Buyer ready for the next step in their career, or an existing Junior Buyer ready for a new challenge. Working closely with the Head of Product, your key responsibilities will be: ·        Responsible for driving sales and profit across the Product category in line with the business strategy and KPI’s ·        Working alongside the Product Design Manager, develop and deliver innovative product which represents the company brand ·        Manage supplier communication and relationships on a day to day basis ·        Responsible for negotiations with suppliers to ensure costs and profit margins for the business are achieved ·        Work closely with merchandising team to analyse sales data to help make informed decisions around product ranges and performance ·        Responsible for setting the price architecture for the product ranges ·        Conduct regular competitor shops to ensure we are in line with the market and seek inspiration for new product ranges ·        Manage critical path to ensure all deadlines are met to enable stock to be delivered on time ·        Attend trade shows to seek other sourcing opportunities   We are looking for: ·        Someone with real drive and passion for Product. ·        Experience of working across either Gifting, Stationery or Homewares would be ideal but not essential. ·        Strong negotiation skills ·        Good commercial acumen ·        Strong planning and organisational skills ·        Strong communication and influencing skills ·        A great team player ·        Please note this is a full time office based role in our Kibworth office. If you have a demonstrable track record of leading and creating marketing campaigns for a product-led business, then we would love to hear from you. As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the marketing strategy for the business. Working closely with the Head of Product, your key areas of responsibility will be: ·        Working closely with the Founder, manage the implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns in line with the RMAT tone of voice ·        Lead and communicate the brand marketing calendar to support the launch of product initiatives and key product launches ·        Measure the effectiveness and success of marketing spend, making relative recommendations for any improvements ·        Understand the consumer behaviors and deliver relevant consumer driven campaigns and brand positioning ·        Manage the critical path for all campaigns ensuring all deadlines are met ·        Align with Commercial, Operations & Design teams to build consistency between brand and product trading activity ·        Maintain a strong knowledge of the market opportunity, emerging trends, competition, product capabilities and customer expectations ·        Ensure the balance between creativity and commerciality is right and in line with the RMAT brand ·        Manage social media platforms ensuring there are regular analytical reviews presented back to the business We’re looking for an accomplished professional with the following skills and experience. ·        Experience of strong ownership, organisation and communications skills with experience of influencing senior stakeholders ·        Strong understanding of the importance of the tone of voice and brand consistency ·        Exceptional planning and multi-tasking skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities ·        Ability to develop, execute and communicate marketing plans and marketing calendars ·        Ability to lead, inspire and develop teams ·        Experience of managing 3rd party partnerships ·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills   Please email your CV and Covering Letter to Office@rosiemadeathing.co.uk
