Ringlink (Scotland) Ltd is a rural business co-operative, owned by its members and managed on behalf of its members to provide a cost effective platform for efficient member to member trading. Celebrating 35 years in business we are proud to serve our 3000 members. The organisation continues to diversify its activities to ensure we cater for the full scope of membership sectors: agriculture, haulage, construction, forestry, public sector and utility providers. Additionally, the vast scope of training solutions delivered through Ringlink Services Ltd provides the membership access to a wide range of legislative training courses in addition to offering Health & Safety expertise in the workplace, ensuring businesses remain compliant and quality assured. The Pre-Apprenticeship programme (previously known as the Internship) has evolved to become accredited by SRUC and offers new entrants the chance to earn and learn in the workplace whilst also gaining a vocational qualification at SCQF level 4. The Pre-Apprenticeship is designed to encourage, train and offer opportunities to 16-21 year olds who are keen to embrace and work in the land-based industry, serving as a taster for the vast array of job opportunities that the sector has to offer.

Delighted to welcome Cabinet Secretary for rural affairs Mairi Gougeon to our training centre this week. Ms Gougeon met current pre-apprentice Danielle Wrigley as well as graduates Logan Smith and Maddie Cairnie from the 2019 and 2020 programmes respectively. "Supporting new entrants, particularly young people, into agriculture is absolutely vital to protect the future of the sector.
