The team at Reside are taking on the Greater Manchester 10K. Our Finance Director, John Greening is going to Nepal in October 2024 to help build a ‘Vocational Training Centre’. He will camp on site and for 5 days will be labouring, making tea and helping to build the centre which will provide young students with the opportunity to learn a trade – carpentry, plumbing, electrics, welding, fabrications and tailoring. This approach helps the students return to their villages and start a business. Reside will aim to raise £3,000 between the team and John has even promised to create a 'Reside' plaque that will be inside the Centre, so a little bit of Reside will be in Nepal forever! Any money raised will be double by St. James’s Place, where John is a senior partner of, and the extra money will go to OnSide. OnSide is a UK charity helping some of our most vulnerable young people in the UK with a number of centres in the North West.
