  • The latest Independent Healthcare Providers Network report on the use of MDTs (Multi-Disciplinary Team Meetings) provides a guide to “Best Practices” for both identifying when MDT meetings should be carried out in the best interests of patients and what clinicians and providers should consider when setting up and running MDT meetings. Read the report here: https://hubs.la/Q02QYWy20 The use of technology is key to delivering a high-quality MDT, but what is the best way to deliver access to the technology? Which process is painless for the clinical team, easily allows a geographically distributed team to participate, and provides a simple means for patient engagement? The answer is our eMDT as a service. Ready Computing has partnered with a provider of a unique Cloud-based Software as a Service provider of MDT technology. A solution that is health sector-specific, incorporates video conferencing and clinically diagnostic image review and includes a digital collaboration workspace. It is a platform designed to enable the MDT to be performed and managed more effectively, securely, and in a uniquely integrated digital clinical environment. The platform offers a full audit trail of activities for the efficient management of the patient care pathway and is used daily by one of the UK's largest private healthcare companies and a major global cancer treatment organisation. If you are interested in learning more about our unique approach to delivering MDTs as a service, book a free 30-minute conversation with our experts using the link below: https://lnkd.in/gVW6rPdB #HealthcareIT #MDT #DataSharing #ClinicalCollaboration #CloudSolutions

  • Suppose we accept that a PACS is designed for radiologists to diagnose images and report studies. Is it the right solution to facilitate collaboration and provide the patient with access to information? Can a tool that stores, distributes, and views DICOM data efficiently handle multimodal data like TIFF images, documents, pathology images, and reports? What are the financial implications if PACS can be adapted to support this capability? Is a traditional licensing model the right approach, or would a dedicated cloud-based solution sold on a pay-per-use basis be more appropriate? Consider then a dedicated solution specifically designed to simplify access to medical records and imaging tests. ✅ One that replaces the need for CD/DVD and report printing. ✅ A cloud-delivered service that includes a one-click teleradiology feature.  ✅ A platform built to enhance clinical collaboration and provide bidirectional communication between patients and physicians.  ✅ Designed from the ground up to be a cloud-based repository for images and documents, which incorporates a powerful multi-disciplined diagnostic viewer and is available on a pay-per-use basis. Does this sound like a better fit? • Teleradiology service providers must complete clinical audits to maintain the quality of service they provide to their customers. However, the cost of conducting an audit using your in-house reporters comes with hidden costs. The obvious upfront cost is the fee paid to the radiologist who completes the audit. Unfortunately, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The more significant cost is the revenue lost to the business from the radiologist being unavailable to report. Audits not only create financial strain for the business, but the decrease in available staff will significantly impact the efficiency of service delivery. Ready Computing works with a clinical reporting company that can help. If you want to learn more about the financial impact of using valuable in-house radiologists to conduct audits and the outsourced services we provide through our partner, please book a free conversation with our experts. https://lnkd.in/gVW6rPdB #Teleradiology #HealthcareEfficiency #ClinicalAudits #CostManagement #HealthcareROI

  • Meet John, an 89-year-old with stage 4 cancer. Like many seniors, John struggles with technology—no broadband, no computer, and a basic mobile phone. This scenario poses a critical question: how do we provide remote care to those who lack and can't use modern technology? The solution lies in advanced telemedicine systems catering to tech-savvy and tech-challenged patients. Imagine a portable device with built-in internet connectivity, a camera, and a microphone, all linked to a central control station for real-time monitoring and communication. Such systems ensure seamless remote consultations, even for those unfamiliar with digital tools. Wearables and remote teleconsultation via mobile phones and tablets offer significant benefits for those comfortable with technology. These solutions can track patients and receive data from medical devices, ensuring continuous health monitoring and timely interventions. Key features of a truly inclusive telemedicine solution: ✔️ Remote Audio-Video Consultations: Accessible from home, reducing hospital visits. ✔️ Unified Management System: Allows healthcare providers to monitor multiple patients. ✔️ Real-Time Data Access: Secure access to patient data for better decision-making. ✔️ User-Friendly Wearables: Easy-to-use devices for health tracking and emergency alerts. ✔️ Proactive Monitoring: Continuous health tracking to prevent emergencies. Such innovative tools improve patient outcomes and ensure that everyone  receives the care they need regardless of their tech skills. This technology exists today and is deployed in over 40 European sites. • The potential of AI in healthcare is vast, but where should we focus our investments for the best ROI? While AI for clinical diagnosis shows promise, evidence of its financial return is limited. Instead, hyper-automation of daily tasks using AI offers genuine savings and efficiency gains. One hyper-automation AI solution, certified as a medical device, has demonstrated remarkable results. In real-world proof of concept deployments, it has reduced the time required for routine tasks—such as patient referrals, managing unwarranted variations, and enhancing cost efficiency through appropriate use of services—from hours to just a few minutes per day. This solution allows clinicians to focus more on patient care, leading to better outcomes and reduced operational costs. Moreover, it improves operational efficiency by implementing lean automated processes, ensuring that healthcare resources are utilised effectively and patient care is streamlined. Prioritizing AI for administrative efficiency over clinical diagnosis ensures a more effective use of healthcare budgets. Let’s drive smarter investments in healthcare AI. If you want to learn more about these transformative solutions, book a conversation with our experts at https://lnkd.in/gVW6rPdB. #HealthcareAI #HyperAutomation #HealthcareEfficiency #AIInvestment #ROI #ReadyComputing

  • By implementing Healthcare Information Exchanges (HIEs), the US is delivering real-world systems and EPR interoperability. One great example is the Veterans Data Integration and Federation Enterprise Platform (VDIF-EP). Since 2019, Ready Computing has been working with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a prime contractor on the VDIF program. VDIF is an excellent example of a comprehensive interoperability solution delivering a single Veteran Health Record across the VA and its partners. Utilising InterSystems HealthShare, VDIF-EP provides secure, real-time access to a comprehensive view of each Veteran’s clinical data. Most importantly, VDIF-EP provides the VA with a complete longitudinal patient record accessible by all 132 instances of VistA, Cerner, and Community Care Partners. The platform processes over 479 million transactions monthly and houses over 11.5 million Veteran medical records. We all know the NHS faces significant challenges and obstacles to providing seamless data sharing across hospitals and trusts. Could the expertise Ready Computing has demonstrated in the US provide valuable solutions to these interoperability challenges in the UK? If you’d like to learn more about VDIF-EP and Ready Computing’s role here, please contact our Business Development Manager, Philip Colbourne. #HealthcareIT #Interoperability #HIE #VDIF #VA #ReadyComputing #NHS
