  • We had a fab time at Digital in Brum's launch event!🚀 The team thoroughly enjoyed the inaugural Digital In Brum (DIB) event last week at St Paul’s House. It was great to see Birmingham’s digital community come together—agency owners, in-house marketers, and digital pros—all sharing ideas, making real connections, and building a stronger network for growth. A huge thank you to next level - marketing, creative, PR & digital recruitment for sponsoring the event and helping us kick things off in style. Partnerships like this make a real difference, and we’re excited to see this community grow from strength to strength. If you missed out, don’t worry—there’s more to come. • Have you met our Social Media Manager, Bethany Knowles? 🌟 Beth joined the PTP team earlier this year, and she's been impressing our clients with her exceptional copywriting and social skills from day one. Beth's creativity doesn't stop at digital marketing. When she's not working her magic on social strategy, she's getting her elbows dirty in a new and exciting DIY project, or getting zen with Pilates. We love having you on board, Beth! #MeetTheTeam #PTPLife

  • What content works on LinkedIn? LinkedIn is all about creating meaningful, professional connections—and the key to standing out is adding value. Based on LinkedIn’s recent guidance, here are three post types that align with their best practices: 1️⃣ Share professional insights: Have you learned something valuable lately? Whether it’s a case study, a lesson from a project, or trends in your industry, sharing your expertise sparks interest and positions you as a thought leader. 2️⃣ Encourage healthy debates: Professional discussions thrive on diverse perspectives. Ask thoughtful questions or present a new idea to get your network talking. Just keep it civil and constructive—LinkedIn is the place for respect, not arguments. 3️⃣ Add value to conversations: Instead of simply promoting, offer something your audience can learn from. A practical tip, a behind-the-scenes look, or even advice based on your experiences can make your posts more engaging and impactful. At Pull The Pin, we love helping brands craft LinkedIn strategies that not only resonate but also build stronger connections with their audience. #LinkedInTips #ContentStrategy #DigitalMarketing

  • "PPC is too expensive" This is something we hear all the time. But the reality is, it's not about cost. It's about strategy. If you're blowing your budget on paid search and seeing little to no return, you need to look at your strategy and focus on smart bidding. With smart bidding, you can leverage machine learning to optimise bids in real time. You should focus on: • Target ROAS • Target CPA • Maximise conversion value When done properly, PPC isn't an expense, but an investment in growth. Ready to transform your paid search? Let's talk strategy. Get in touch today. #PPC #DigitalAdvertising #ROI

  • "What are the first 3 posts I should post on LinkedIn?" It's a question our MD Sam Hufton and Head of Content and Social Coral Luck are asked time and time again. And we get it - knowing what to post on LinkedIn if you're starting out isn't easy. So Coral has given you a few ideas for your first 3 posts: - Lessons you've learned in your career - 3 things you'd tell 18 year old you - A case study or problem and solution style post Check out the video to find out more. 📹 #LinkedInStrategy #DigitalMarketing #PersonalBranding

  • Stop saying a marketing tactic is dead. Especially if you don't know the strategy behind it Look at the data instead. We've seen countless posts declaring "SEO is dead" or "PPC is over." The truth is, no marketing tactic dies overnight. It evolves. When a strategy hits a wall: 1. Analyse your data 2. Identify what's changed 3. Adapt your approach 4. Test new ideas 5. Measure results For example: A client came to us because their SEO was failing. Turns out, they needed to get their house in order and create content that resonated with their audience. So we did what we do best. And after a few months of hard work we attributed £22K in sales from SEO. Instead of jumping ship, look at what isn't working and see how you can improve it. #DigitalMarketing #DataDrivenDecisions
