Opened in September 2019, P&J Live is the North East of Scotland’s brand news state of the art events venue comprising 48,000 square metres of multi-purpose event space, boasting a world-class arena, conference facilities, exhibition halls and turnkey meeting rooms. Located at The Event Complex Aberdeen (TECA) which is also home to two on site hotels including the adjoining 4-star Hilton with 200 bedrooms and, the Aloft Hotel with 150 bedrooms with a further 2,200 rooms within a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the venue. With unrivalled public transport connections, P&J Live is located right next to Aberdeen International Airport - the UK's most connected regional airport, a few short minutes from the city's new western peripheral route, and in prime position for rail links between Aberdeen and the North of Scotland. A short 15 minute drive or bus journey from the event complex will find you in the heart of Aberdeen’s city centre. Delegates and organisers will be met with a refreshing mix of cafes, restaurants and hotels, that all add to the city's vibrant and cosmopolitan appeal.     As we near the end of 2024 it's time to unwrap some P&J Live stats just for you ❤️ ⭐️ In 2024 we hosted 204 individual events over 340 event days. 🚪 Over 300,000 visitors came through our doors. 🥂 We held the largest banquet ever to be held at P&J Live with over 1,200 attendees. 🎉 We celebrated our fifth birthday with a doors open day and special tree planting ceremony. 🏆 We were award winners and finalists with both Arryann Duncan & Peter Thompson taking home trophies. 🍺 74,000 draught pints were poured by our staff and over 5,000 loaded chicken fries were served.     ⭐️ TEAM SPOTLIGHT ⭐️ P&J Live's in-house AV team designed and delivered a striking, video-driven stage set that captivated the audience and showcased cutting-edge technology at this year's OEUK Awards! ⭐️ Working closely with Offshore Energies UK our team developed a concept that pushed creative boundaries—transforming the stage into a dynamic visual experience. Not only did we incorporate video wall panels, but the entire stage structure itself was crafted from these panels, creating an immersive and functional design. One of the highlights of the stage design was the creation of custom portrait side wings. This unique feature allowed us to display bespoke video content specifically tailored to these elements, enhancing the overall visual impact. Custom content is key to bringing a video-driven set to life, and we partnered once again with Aberdeen's renowned TVP Studios to ensure the highest production quality. With their expertise, they created captivating and dynamic visuals that perfectly complemented the stage design. To supply the video wall itself, we turned to a trusted local partner, PCL Live AV, leading Aberdeen-based company. We are proud to keep things local wherever possible, reducing the event's carbon footprint and supporting the community. Our AV team took care of all aspects of the design, logistics, programming, and media coordination, ensuring a seamless experience on the night. Our extensive in-house lighting stock added depth and vibrancy to the stage, bringing the entire set to life. Throughout the consultation phase, we provided our client with detailed 3D renders, allowing them to explore various design options and ensure they maximized their budget.
