We're really proud to be part of the UK Community Foundations network, and grateful that the vital work we all do has been championed in the House of Lords by Lord Dr Michael Hastings CBE.

Grant-making in action! 🙌 We were really pleased to be able to host our Community Capacity Fund panel meeting recently in these stunning surroundings, courtesy of The Randolph Hotel, part of Graduate Hotels. This round of Community Capacity funding was made possible thanks to £341,250 from Oxfordshire County Council. Panel meetings are part of the decision-making process once all applications have been assessed by volunteers and staff. These meetings enable discussion and reflection to help make often tricky decisions about funding. 🫶 Volunteer assessors and panellists are vital to our work and we're delighted to have so many new and long-standing volunteers who are able to assist us in our grant-making, including trustees Neil Preddy and Imam Monawar Hussain, MBE DL FRSA MCCT here in the photo. #GivingTuesday is an annual day to celebrate and encourage doing good to transform communities. And what better way to celebrate than with our donors, supporters and some of the charitable groups we have been able to fund recently! We were so pleased to spend an uplifting evening with everyone at County Hall where we could celebrate the impact of our collective work across Oxfordshire. Zoe Sprigings, OCF's Chief Executive, shared some of the highlights of our work over the previous year and the vital work that grassroots charities do all around the county. She spoke of the power of the collective - how by pooling resources we are able to reach many more small and local charities than any of us would be able to on our own.
