Independent East Conference: A Resounding Success! 👨🏽🤝👨🏼🏡🎉 We recently hosted our biennial conference at Trinity Park, Ipswich, bringing together board members, customers, and local authority stakeholders. The event was a hub of innovation and collaboration within the housing sector. First off, we were treated to keynotes from Jonathan Walters (Deputy CEO, Regulator for Social Housing) and Kate Henderson (CEO, National Housing Federation) who shared insights on sector challenges and government commitments to affordable housing. We also explored AI in Housing as Michael Appleby (MD, Altair Consulting) discussed the future impact of AI in the sector. And finally, a fantastic open discussion lead by Havebury Housing Partnership and Saffron Housing Trust as they shared their experiences of the new regulatory regime following their recent inspections. The exchange of ideas and commitment to collective problem-solving was inspiring. A big thank you to all our speakers and attendees for making this event such a success! Together, we’re driving positive change in the housing sector and are looking forward to continuing this dialogue and improving housing outcomes for all.
