Can you merge real wildlife sequences with a fictional love story? 🐸 ❤️ About a year ago, I pitched this idea to On the Edge and Wildscreen, not entirely sure if this cross-genre concept could stand on its own. But that’s precisely what the EDGE of Nature programme is about—supporting bold, out-of-the-box ideas to reimagine natural history storytelling. This story follows a couple in a long-distance relationship, imagining themselves as three endangered species, crafted to resonate with digital audiences. After 11 months, 3 shoots in Malaysia, 1 shoot in London, and the efforts of an amazing team, I’m thrilled to share that our 16-minute short film, "Would You Still Love Me If I Was a Sticky Frog?" is now out on YouTube.
