One Stop Business Finance was founded in 2014 by Andrew Mackenzie, who had the desire to fill a gap. One Stop Business Finance was created to offer solution-led, responsible funding options to help like-minded UK businesses succeed. After all, we too, are a fast-growing SME! At One Stop Business Finance, we work across England and Wales, and new research indicates that business confidence in Wales has surged to the highest level in the UK. According to the latest business confidence monitor from the ICAEW, a membership body for chartered accountants, Wales achieved a confidence level of 26.1 in the third quarter of this year—the highest among all UK nations and regions. In contrast, the overall confidence level for the UK fell to 14.4, marking a decline from the previous quarter. Additionally, new research from the British Business Bank highlights that Welsh businesses are anticipating a significant increase in domestic sales growth, projected at 6.3% over the next year, which is the joint-highest rate in the UK. Strong sales expectations in sectors such as energy and water, construction, and IT and communications are contributing to this positive outlook.
