NLA is the independent centre for London’s built environment, where professionals, politicians and the public can meet, learn and have a voice on the future shape of London. We bring people and ideas together to shape a better city. Our year-round programme of research, events and exhibitions bring together our broad network to debate and discuss all issues affecting London’s built environment. We are based in The Building Centre, WC1, where our giant interactive model of central London is free to visit six days a week.

We’re thrilled to announce the winner of 'Transforming Falcon Road Bridge' with Wandsworth Borough Council! 🎉 #BeyondTheBridge by GPAD, POoR Collective, and a talented team including MRG Studio, Sutton Vane Associates, Cundall, and MDA Consulting have been selected for their visionary design. This community-centred project reimagines the underpass near #ClaphamJunction as a vibrant and inclusive landmark, prioritizing sustainability, safety, and local culture. Featuring responsive lighting, micro-gardens, and a co-designed 'Memories of Wandsworth' wayfinding wall, ‘Beyond the Bridge’ creates a welcoming space that celebrates the #voices and stories of Wandsworth.
