⭐NASAP Members new benefit: Ofsted Inspection Support⭐ 🔍 As inspections have got underway we have been talking to members and understand the natural worries you have ahead of inspection. Some members will be offering to share their inspection stories, good and perhaps more challenging, through the peer to peer sessions. We also have another opportunity to hear Steve Percival talk about anticipating and planning effectively for inspection in December. As we have been reinforcing in our peer to peer sessions, if you have a good knowledge of the regulations, a safe, homely home and a strong value based focused on the welfare and safety of your young people you are going to do fine. Ofsted’s role is the same as yours… to make sure young people are safe and progressing well in safe settings with amazing staff. Our new benefit provides you with individual support through inspection. If you contact us on the Monday when you’re notified of an inspection, NASAP will now offer you a named individual who will keep in touch with you through the inspection process. Their role will be: ▫️To be linked up by email, sharing their phone number and offering to answer any last minute questions ahead of inspection ▫️To respond on the day to any queries you have ▫️To provide you with initial emotional support and a listening ear if things are challenging ▫️To support you to in your rights within an Ofsted inspection, including requesting to delay the inspection if required ▫️ To make contact via the NASAP admin email to check in with an offer to offload following an inspection ▫️To offer initial reflections following an inspection, helping you understand the findings ▫️ To facilitate access to additional support if you need to challenge Ofsted’s findings or respond to issues they have found ▫️To advocate on your behalf with Ofsted where we can demonstrate there is unfairness This is initial support included in your membership fee – if you need more detailed support we will help you access this too. We are confident in the values of our membership base and believe we’ve done everything we can alongside you to get you ready for inspection, particularly through the bitesize training and peer to peer support. We will be here to support you with inspection, to understand any findings and if necessary to challenge the regulator either alongside you or on behalf of the whole sector where we believe the regulations are not being properly applied. We are so proud to be part of our members journey, of your young people’s journey, and look forward to hearing how it has gone. 🫱🏻🫲🏽 Members: Get in touch to access this service 🔓Become a member of NASAP to access this service: https://ow.ly/C3bK50U9Pwz ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Collaboration over competition, always! 🫱🏻🫲🏽
