Santa Shoebox 🎅 This year, Minimal Risk Consultancy Limited and Arcfyre International | Protective, Risk Consulting and Journey Management services partnered with the Emthonjeni Community Care Centre in Zandspruit, a local community in Johannesburg, to spread some holiday cheer. The Santa Shoebox initiative provides children with gift boxes filled with essential everyday items, special treats and cuddly toys 🎁 We sent donations directly across to South Africa where the Group filled up 157 boxes, loaded up the cars and delivered them to the children at the centre. The little ones were absolutely delighted 😊 Thank you to everyone for your tremendous effort and generosity! Introducing John Davies SAC Dip, ASyl. From Security Officer to Contract Manager, his journey with Minimal Risk Consultancy Limited has been one of growth, opportunity and continuous learning. Here's how it all began 📖 'I joined MRC in 2010. Initially, as a Security Officer working on the Forestry Commission of Wales contract, I then went on to become Supervisor and then progressed to Contract Manager. How did that happen? In 2014 we provided security for the Tour de France at Harewood House (Tour de Harewood) which really kicked off the event work. We did The Game Fair, the APF Show, the VW Festival, the Lincolnshire Show...too many to count! I started within the team and then levelled up to management, and in 2016 became the Contract Manager overseeing UK events. I work with the Directors often, and the experience in the office gives me great ‘rounded’ knowledge. I’ve also gained a Security Management Diploma under MRC and continue to push my professional development.
