Down, down, down the road. Down the witches' road! Joking, no witches road here, we're just testing out these lowering ropes while everyone is on lunch! Repeated impact on your crawler and camera can cause metal deformation and potentially damage seals allowing water ingress. Prevent this by using the crawler lowering rope instead of the cable. Taking portability to the next level!
Attended site on Monday to assist our customer with a performance event. 225mm pipe suspected to be collapsed overflowing in a farmers field. CCTV survey carried out which showed rubble and concrete at 40 metres upstream. Scan carried which identified the location of the crawler. Dug on pipe and letter box opened. Found to be a blocked drain rather than collapsed, blocked with rubble and concrete. Within 3 / 4 hours of us been on site we had restored full flow. Now how’s that for service!!!
