It’s been a busy year for our cargo teams. Next up in our Year in Review series, our Global Head of Cargo, Beau Paine reflects on the biggest highlights from 2024. “We expanded our operations with new cargo facilities in Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) in Jordan, and Maputo International Airport (MPM) in Mozambique, and welcomed new colleagues at four of our five stations in Portugal – Lisbon (LIS), Porto (OPO), Funchal (FNC) and Porto Santo (PXO). The year culminated with a major milestone: the unveiling of a 250,000-tonne warehouse in Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR) and the announcement of our partnership with Western Sydney International Airport (WSI), along with exciting expansion plans in Sydney. We also focused on strengthening key partnerships, renewing our Cathay Cargo collaboration in the South-West Pacific region at eight airports, expanding at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, and adding MPM to our Qatar Airways network. New partnerships with Air India also enhanced our global reach. Our team, technology, and commitment to quality were key pillars this year. We strengthened our leadership with key appointments, including Alanood Obaid Alsuwaidi and Oliver Ashton. We also rolled out our MACH technology across 24 locations, led by our SVP Cargo Technology Rory Fidler, while integrating Cargo iQ performance monitoring and business intelligence dashboards to enhance our operations and customer service. We also celebrated our first CEIV Li-batt certified location in Macau, highlighting our focus on e-commerce and safe, secure handling. I’m incredibly proud of our team’s achievements this year, and excited for the opportunities that lie ahead as we continue to innovative, grow and lead the way in 2025.” #MenziesAviation #PeoplePassionPride #YearInReview #2024 #Menzies2024

Through the acquisition of Flystar Flight Support, we’ve strengthened our foothold in the Balkans and enhanced Pearl’s 24/7 Operations Control Centre, ensuring a seamless, world-class service at over 25 locations globally. In addition to this major milestone, we’ve made groundbreaking strides in our internal operations with the implementation of Summize, a revolutionary Contract Management System that will streamline our processes and improve efficiency across the board. Darren Masters, Executive Vice President Oceania & South-East Asia shares his top moments from 2024 that have helped to cement our presence in the Asia-Pacific region. “A standout achievement in 2024 was the acquisition of a 50% stake in Jardine Aviation Services Group (JASG), which today operates as Menzies CNAC. This strategic partnership not only strengthens our position in Hong Kong, a crucial aviation hub, but also demonstrates our long-term commitment to the region. We also extended our longstanding relationship with Cathay Cargo with a renewed five-year contract, continuing to provide cargo and freighter ramp services in the south-west Pacific. This partnership, built over two decades, increases services for the airline in New Zealand, further enhancing our global cargo network. Looking ahead, we’ve also made a significant commitment to the future of the Western Sydney International Airport with the announcement of a new 22,500sqm cargo facility, set to open in 2026. This facility will specialise in handling pharmaceutical and cool chain products, e-commerce, and heavy cargo, reinforcing our commitment to innovation and operational excellence. We’re incredibly excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to further success in the years to come.” #MenziesAviation #PeoplePassionPride #YearInReview #2024 #Menzies2024

As we continue our 2024 Year in Review, our Executive Chairman, Hassan El-Houry shares his favourite moments from the past 12 months and the incredible milestones that have shaped our journey. " As we wrap up 2024, I’m filled with pride and gratitude for all that our teams have accomplished this year. One of the standout moments was closing the acquisition of Groundforce Portugal, which after more than three years of hard work and effort marked a significant milestone. This not only expanded our operations but saw us welcome thousands of new colleagues into the Menzies family, and strengthened our partnership with TAP Portugal. “I’ve had the privilege of spending time with colleagues around the globe. In Amsterdam, I met a family with three generations all working at Menzies. This truly demonstrates that we are more than just a company – we are one family, dedicated to creating a great place for everyone to work. “Another major highlight was expanding to 300 airports worldwide. From our humble beginnings, being recognised as the largest global player in aviation services by countries, airports and aircraft turns was a dream come true.
