Did you know that 1 in 3 women in the UK suffer from #urinaryincontinence in the first year after giving birth and for 75% of women this continues beyond the first year? Many women are not even aware that they may experience #pelvicfloordysfunction after having a baby and no national training programmes focus on post-natal pelvic floor health. To address this problem, Nordic Fit Mama developed a pelvic floor online exercise video specifically for post-natal women with instructions and support from a professional. Medipex’s expertise was called upon to investigate whether there was an appetite for their product in the NHS. The project was funded by Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (AWRC) at Sheffield Hallam University. Curious about the outcome of this project?
