Key highlights include: 🔍 The publication of draft legislation to regulate #ESGRatings providers—boosting investor confidence in sustainable companies. 📊 A consultation on the value of a #UKGreenTaxonomy to strengthen sustainable investment. 📜 Commitments to future consultations on mandatory disclosures for major companies using UK Sustainability Reporting Standards, aligned with the ISSB. 🌿 New integrity principles for voluntary carbon and nature markets (VCNMs), with more detailed consultations coming in the new year. 🏦 Establishing the Transition Finance Council, with the City of London Corporation, to support UK leadership on #TransitionFinance, following key recommendations from the Transition Finance Market Review. 🗓 Upcoming consultation next year on implementing transition plans to bolster the UK as a global hub for #NetZero-aligned finance.
