This Christmas Day, while many of us are enjoying the day with our loved ones, Paramedic Emma, Dr Joe Rowles and the rest of our advanced trauma team are at our helipad, ready to respond to critically-injured patients across the capital.

We have an opportunity to join The Institute of Pre-Hospital Care team as an Institute Coordinator. The Institute Coordinator will work closely with our clinical and operational teams from both the HEMS and Physician Response Unit services along with our university colleagues and degrees faculty. AI TRIPS is a $2.3M study across the four London Major Trauma Centres and London’s Air Ambulance, to investigate the impact of an AI-powered clinical decision support system. A position is available as a Clinical Research Fellow for the study at Queen Mary University of London.   The post-holder will play a key role as a member of the research team delivering the outputs of the award and will be expected to register for a higher degree (MD Res or PhD). 2024 - what a year it’s been. We began the year with our MD902 helicopters and we end the year with our new aircraft which are online and ready to take our advanced trauma team to critically-injured patients across London. Last month, we joined the London Freemasons in the Lord Mayor’s Show.🚶🚗 The London Freemasons have been long-standing supporters of our charity. Most recently, they fundraised an incredible £3 million for our Up Against Time appeal – playing a huge part in ensuring we were able to replace our helicopter fleet.
