Last time, you watched us dismantle our Saez TLS 65 10T machine with the help of the impressive Terek CDK 100 derrick crane. This week, the spotlight shifted as we completed the next phase: dismantling the CDK 100 itself! To accomplish this, we installed a Jaso J1920DC, which meticulously hoisted components down from an incredible height of 220m—piece by piece. In close collaboration with the highly efficient team at McAleer & Rushe, we successfully erected two tower cranes from a single position using a 500t mobile crane with a luffing jib. The 5-day operation was carried out in close proximity to live Network Rail tracks, with challenges including tight space, complex lifts, and ensuring no disruption to critical rail services.
