  • It is with great excitement that LocationLincs announces our newest Ambassador - Hollywood rising star , Actor HARRY LAWTEY. With family roots in Barton-upon-Humber, Lincolnshire, Harry draws inspiration from his rich heritage in the region, which has shaped his grounded and creative outlook. His connection to the county remains an integral part of his identity, fueling his passion for storytelling and his advocacy for the arts. Harry first achieved widespread acclaim for his role as Robert Spearing in HBO’s hit series Industry (2020–present). In 2024, Harry expanded his repertoire with a significant role in the highly anticipated Joker: Folie à Deux, the sequel to the Academy Award-winning Joker (2019). Acting alongside Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, Harry showcased his ability to bring depth and intensity to one of the year’s most high-profile productions. Beyond his work on screen, Harry is passionate about supporting the arts and inspiring the next generation of creatives. Drawing on his strong ties to Lincolnshire, he advocates for arts education and the transformative power of storytelling to connect communities and foster new talent. HARRY SAYS: As someone whose heritage charts back to the town of Barton-upon-Humber in North Lincolnshire, I’m really glad to be able to advocate for the county and all it has to offer. There is a really rich cultural landscape in this part of the nation, that has been for far too long undeserved in fiction. There are stories that need telling, and talent that has to break through. There is a blueprint in the way a filmic infrastructure has been created in places like Cardiff and Manchester, and I’ve seen first hand how that has revitalised those areas, and engaged young people with new career paths. To see Lincolnshire similarly emerge as a creative hub, on both sides of the camera, would be a brilliant thing.
