💚Litter Warriors 💚 Autumn seemed the perfect time to revisit our family fun of combining dog walks with litter picking. My kids absolutely love it, working it together to find litter, (safely!) retrieving it and then logging their finds on a litter picking app that rewards points for binning litter. This haul rewarded them with the opportunity of planting three trees for their efforts. They now even want their own child sized litter pickers for Christmas 😆 However the darker side was realising just how much litter had been thrown into the bushes, behind church benches in the fields etc. This tall bin bag must have had about 100 cans in the end and there is no shortage of bins around our village. We'll continue our efforts and in the meantime I would encourage others to check out the LitterLotto app! #climatechange #lovewhereyoulive
