Thanks to the money we raised during our prize draw we’re able to put on Christmas activities at The Bridge, including Christmas crafts. Arts and crafts has proven to be beneficial for a person's mental health and wellbeing, which is why we will continue to provide art classes every Monday, even once the Christmas period is over. Our team came together for a Christmas food fest, where we indulged in some festive treats, donned our favourite Christmas jumpers, and were in much need of a siesta after all that food! 💤 More importantly, we wanted to make this season even more special by giving back. Our chosen charity for this holiday season is The Bridge Homelessness to Hope 💙🏠 The Bridge Homeless Shelter does incredible work supporting individuals who are experiencing homelessness, providing vital services to help them regain stability. Last Friday we had our Volunteer Christmas Celebration, hosted by our Volunteer Coordinator Emma, as a small way to thank our volunteers for everything they do, from donating their time to The Bridge, to showing up early or going home late. ‘It was a great way to round up the year by getting volunteers together to say a huge thank you for all their hard work and continued support.
