This highlights reel from the LawNet Ltd conference is a must-watch! Proud to see my colleagues from Thompson Smith and Puxon Solicitors actively involved, with Robert Ashworth sharing his thoughts in this year’s interviews. AI in the legal industry sparked some great discussions. At TSP, we have used AI tools in selected areas for some time to boost efficiency—helping our lawyers focus on better solutions and stronger client relationships… but we feel like we have only dipped a toe so far! The message from the conference? AI will not replace lawyers but will empower those who embrace it. Waiting risks falling behind as the learning curve steepens. It was also great to reconnect with colleagues and friends nationwide. Conversations sparked collaboration, both on client work and operations in both directions. Thanks to the LawNet team and all the member firms—we truly go #furthertogether.

This is a great roundup of this year’s LawNet Ltd conference in Birmingham, highlighting the quality of our community and our member firms. It’s always nice to contribute some thoughts to these videos as LawNet chairman and it is lovely to see my brilliant colleague Hannah Wallbridge featuring a couple of times as well in this year’s edition.

A few weeks ago, I made a film with Mind that went out last week as part of the Loose Women mental health Talkathon. I'm really pleased with the film but still felt really nervous about it going out and was a bit unsure about whether to share this but thought I would. It's about a time when I was really struggling with my mental health and had a panic attack. I called the Mind Infoline and it really helped me. Whenever I take part in something like this, I always hope it might help start some conversations about mental health, maybe encourage someone to seek help and maybe break down some of the stigma around mental illness. https://lnkd.in/epPBQ9-G
