It’s Week 11 of Future Labs, and the countdown to next week’s grand finale at the Future Labs Expo is on! Today, we’re thrilled to showcase iqast - intelligent forecasting software in the final instalment of our Supplier Spotlight series iqast is a pioneer in Artificial Intelligence software for forecasting and time series prediction, accelerating AI projects 10-fold for unrivalled accuracy and robustness across industries. What was the biggest challenge in developing your solution? The biggest challenge in developing AutoAI for industry is that every industry requirement is unique, as industries are very different. As a result, it took a long time to develop the necessary understanding to develop a robust and scalable architecture that does not require the user or consultant to write code, thus accelerating its implementation. We are proud to say, that today already over 1mio forecasts are run fully automatically each month using iqast globally, from container demand to suntan lotion and medical products. What is the ultimate benefit your solution will bring to Future Labs? Iqast is showing the benefits of using AutoAI forecasting in revenue management forecasting during events such as football, concerts, race days, Christmas markets, or fair coastal weather, as well as workforce unavailability forecasting of drivers due to various reasons across multiple heterogeneous work depots, the forecasting of service delays during extreme weather and also demand forecasting during named storms. The applications of forecasting with AI abound in railway management as every managerial or expert decision regarding the future can be supported by analytical forecasting to base decisions. With iqast providing a single platform for multiple forecasting challenges within a TOC we allow rapid scaling after these initial use cases to even more forecasting solutions. How are you hoping to develop your idea through the Future Labs programme? We are gaining valuable insights into the forecasting challenges in the rail industry, from predicting the unavailability of training drivers and conductors to revenue uplifts from increased journey demand from special events such as concerts, football or fair weather, or delays caused by extreme weather and speed restrictions. In addition, we hope to customize our solution to rail forecasting challenges How important do you think programmes like the Future Labs are for developing ideas? Highly important to provide innovation, instead of just ideas. Inventions abound in research, but making an idea or invention marketable, bringing it together with the reality of problems and seeing them impact and scale, that is the beauty of programmes such as Future Labs. What does innovation mean to you in three words? AI with impact Learn more on the lab here >>> https://lnkd.in/eVfZFizS

It has been a true pleasure to participate in the London Innovation Ecosystem Journey, organised by the Àrea d’Emprenedoria i Formació of the Empresa i Competitivitat. Departament d'Empresa i Treball. The goal? To learn, exchange ideas, and draw inspiration for new initiatives by engaging with a world-class ecosystem like London’s. Key highlights: ✅ Representing ACCIÓ - Catalonia Trade & Investment in the "Scaling New Heights, Making an Impact to Fuel Entrepreneurship" panel session organized by Gateley, where I shared how we support Catalan businesses from our London office. ✅ Co-organising a roundtable with #CatalansUK and the Delegation of the Government of Catalonia to the United Kingdom, where fantastic panelists shared valuable insights on the entrepreneurial landscapes of the UK and Catalonia. ✅ Visiting White City Innovation District and the NatWest Entrepreneur Accelerator, two outstanding innovation hubs. This journey has provided practical insights and connections that will help drive meaningful initiatives for Catalonia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. #Innovation #Entrepreneurship #Catalonia #UnitedKingdom #London #Collaboration
