Here’s a glimpse of our team in action, installing vented roof tiles as part of the PAS 2035 design for Clarion Housing’s SHDF project. This bungalow is receiving a range of PAS 2030 upgrades to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability. The vented roof tiles are a key feature in this transformation. By enabling proper roof ventilation, they help prevent moisture buildup, safeguarding the structure and fostering a healthier, more energy efficient home environment. What truly sets this project apart is our management approach. Both our Director of Manufacturing, Leo Rosser, and the Decarbonisation Division Manager, Bradley Chandler FIOC, were hands on, directly supervising the work and engaging closely with both our operatives and the local community. This reflects our belief in leadership through connection, understanding and a commitment to excellence on the ground. Celebrating Social Value Week This week, we’ve been proud to make a difference every day, showcasing how partnerships and community efforts create lasting impacts. Here’s how our journey unfolded: Monday: Donated £1,000 to the Notting Hill Genesis Gift Appeal, supporting families in need. Tuesday: Attended the Barnardo’s charity event at the Royal Albert Hall, contributing to the impactful CHOOSE HOUSING campaign, led by Elly Hoult, Chief Operating Officer/Deputy Chief Executive, Peabody. Wednesday: Volunteered at a heartwarming lunch for Peabody’s elder community in Hackney. We also donated plenty of treats and a special hamper for their raffle. Thursday: A proud moment! As an SME, we were thrilled to be considered side by side with top tier companies for the SVLG Social Value Awards, nominated for the Social Value Excellence award by Peabody. This recognition highlights our unwavering commitment to building strong, thriving communities. Friday: Delivered raffle prizes, selection boxes (£280 worth) and a £500 cash donation to support a community Christmas meal hosted by Charlton Triangle Housing to help spread holiday cheer. Community Initiative: As a bonus, KBH Haus refurbished an old phone box on the premises into a Mini Library volunteering time and materials to inspire a love for reading among students!
