Last week, in collaboration with Practera, we hosted an in-person Reflection & Networking Session for LSE students who had recently finished the LSE Careers Skills Accelerator. These students involved were interested in enhancing their professional skills, building their network, and gaining industry experience through virtual skills-based activities. The session concluded a 2-week Virtual LSE Industry Project (Nano-Project) in which 100 students were split into 15 teams and consulted NGOs, SMEs, think tanks, and organisations to provide valuable insights on current challenges including themes such as public policy, business growth, innovation, and sustainable impact. This session was an amazing opportunity for our students to connect with their peers, their employers, and the LSE Careers Work-Based Learning Team in person and share their experiences of the programme and nano-project. We would like to extend a big thank you to our panellists for sharing your insights on early careers, entrepreneurship, and your own journeys as well as Practera for helping facilitate the programme. Congratulations to our students who completed their Nano-Project and thank you for attending! What a fantastic afternoon we've had visiting The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for an on-site networking event! It’s so inspiring to follow a program from start to finish and to witness firsthand the impact our students make on client challenges. Equally exciting was the opportunity to see valuable industry connections being made, creating a collaborative environment where clients have the opportunity to network with future talent. Thank you to everyone involved in making this event such a success! The shift reflects a deeper connection to consumer values. It’s not just about beauty; it’s about responsibility and impact.💡 PR can amplify these efforts by crafting stories that align brand purpose with consumer values, building trust and loyalty. • Why do some Campaigns Miss the Mark? Ever come across a campaign so off-target you wonder, How did they miss the mark that badly? The missing ingredient in many of these cases is one simple yet powerful word: authenticity. In the world of PR, even the most detailed planned campaigns can fail if they overlook authentic connection. Too often, brands invest all their resources into eye-catching visuals, popular trends, or using the latest tech only to fall short on results. Why? Because they didn’t take the time to truly understand and resonate with their audience. Authenticity is the bridge between your message and your audience’s values and beliefs. It’s the foundation of trust and should never be overlooked. Authenticity can’t be faked or rushed it requires understanding your audience deeply, staying true to your brand’s voice, and building genuine connections. True engagement happens when people see themselves reflected in your story. Next time you’re planning a campaign, ask yourself: Does this feel real? Would our audience see themselves in this story? Because the truth is, the campaigns that connect on a human level are the ones that drive real impact and lasting success. What’s a campaign you’ve seen recently that nailed authenticity? Let’s discuss below! 👇 #AuthenticityMatters #BuildingConnection #PRInsights #Authenticity #BrandConnection
