And that's almost a wrap for 2024! As the year draws to a close, we'd like to thank everyone who has played a role in our year - our valued clients, industry peers, and incredible team. With the festive season fast approaching, our offices will be closed from Monday 23rd December, reopening on Thursday 2nd January 2024. Great to see progress being made on Carmarthen's Health & Wellbeing Hwb! Our Cardiff team are working on this project to turn the former Debenhams store in the town centre into a state-of-the-art health, wellbeing, education, and leisure hub. Additionally the building will be home to a new 24-hour gym, indoor adventure golf, soft play, E-Go Karting, a cafe, and much more! The project will revitalise nearly 8,000 square metres of commercial space, boosting footfall to the town centre.

Last Friday, Ross Pomery and Martin Finlay attended the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Plym Neuro Rehab Unit at Mount Gould Hospital, celebrating the completion of its refurbishment. This redevelopment delivers a modern, purpose-built facility designed to increase capacity and provide more appointments each year, benefiting both local and regional patients. Mount Gould has been a key project for Martin Finlay and the Jubb team for many years, so it’s particularly rewarding to see this next phase come to life. Congratulations to Will Hudson on becoming a Chartered Civil Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)! In the past year Will has been a finalist in the Future Leader category at the Constructing Excellence South West awards and delivered a talk at the Urban Design Group National Conference on his work on turning sustainable drainage systems into quality public realm at Armarda Way in Plymouth Congratulations Will!

Our team and guests had a fantastic evening on Friday at the TBF DevonandCornwall Annual Dinner at the Crown Plaza in #Plymouth. It was great to see over 400 people come together, showing just how strong the construction community is here in the Southwest.
