We have a series of new features launching this summer, all designed to help you get from A to B without stress, but we need a few people to test them with us…   First up are the features for our TOC clients and rail passengers. We’re looking for 20-30 testers, so if you regularly travel by train and could spare a few minutes to test our latest ideas, please get in touch! We don’t need much from you, just a bit of feedback on whether it’s useful and how we can improve. Asia Mobiliti and Journey Alerts, a UK tech company announced a collaboration yesterday to improve urban mobility connectivity, particularly within under-served population groups. The two sides aim to enable seamless travel for millions across low and middle-income countries by taking a radically different approach. The launch follows a successful UK-Malaysia joint funded project in Malaysia in which Journey Alerts and Asia Mobiliti delivered personalised passenger information for public transport via Asia Mobiliti’s Trek platform. The service does not use or require a transport app, focusing instead on communicating with passengers exclusively on channels they already use, such as WhatsApp, Messenger and Viber.  With apps not easily accessible or well used in low and middle-income countries, engaging the millions of daily active users on the messaging channels instead will unlock previously unachievable global reach.
