Data protection compliance can feel overwhelming for small organisations, but it doesn’t have to be. Scaling compliance to fit your needs is achievable without complex systems or costly software. Creating a data inventory (record of processing activities under GDPR) is a great starting point. This foundational document answers four key questions: What data do you have? What are you doing with it? Where is it stored? Who has access to it? You can piece together the answers and compile them by having short conversations with team members across departments. Start small, stay practical, and tackle compliance step by step!
